The talk discussed some key differences between expressions of urban creativity in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Malmö (Sweden), as well as some of the lines of distinction between street art and graffiti. The talk further focused on the process of gradually coming to appreciate graffiti as an artistic and cultural expression in urban public space. The talk was in part based on Peter's book <link https: www.academia.edu bengtsen_p._2014_._the_street_art_world external-link-new-window external link in new>The Street Art World (2014). The talk was organised by Centrum för Öresundsstudier. Peter is currently co-coordinating the Urban Creativity theme at the Pufendorf Institute for Advanced Studies. The theme will culminate in a conference in mid-May 2019. A call for papers is under preparation and will be sent out shortly.
