I am a doctoral student in the History of Ideas and Science since September 2019 and am funded by the National Research School in History.

My research interests revolve around the history of the social sciences, and my dissertation focuses on the history of sociological research on racial inequality in the USA between 1945-1975. Here, I focus on the works of Swedish social scientist Gunnar Myrdal and his monumental work, An American Dilemma, plus his later attempt to write a follow up called An American Dilemma Revisited in the 1970s.

Combining approaches from both book history and the Cambridge school of intellectual history, I place Myrdal's works in their intellectual historical contexts to explain Myrdal's interventions into the scientific literature.

In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
