Guided by the philosopher Gilles Deleuze and the psychiatrist Félix Guattari's theoretical concepts, I study the emergence, existence and disappearance of so-called gay sauna clubs, which was banned in Sweden during the years 1987 to 2004 due to the so-called Sauna Club Act (Act SFS 1987:375).
