Series
Lund Studies in Arts and Cultural Sciences is a book series that publishes monographs, edited volumes and PhD-theses in subjects related to the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences at Lund University. It aims at offering the department’s researchers a straightforward and professional forum for publishing their works in a high quality scholarly context. An editorial board decides on issues concerning publication and judges whether a work has been vetted in a way recognized and accepted in academic scholarship. This means the work has undergone double blind peer review, seminar review or extensive editorial review. By means of a formalized publication decision the series’ warrants for the books’ scholarly quality.
The editorial board is represented by senior researchers from the department's various divisions. The editorial board consists of Peter Bengtsen (Art history and Visual Studies), Philip Dodds (Musicology), Lisa Engström (Information Studies), Rachel Irwin (Ethnology), Sara Kärrholm (Publishing Studies), Jonas Nordin (Book History), Emma Severinsson (Fashion Sciences) and Sara Tanderup Linkis (Digital Cultures). The main editor is David Dunér (History of Ideas and Sciences).
