In this text seminar I present a paper as part of my PhD thesis on women pioneers in electronic music in the 1950s, that focusses on the French composer Éliane Radigue (*1932) and the Danish composer Else Marie Pade (1924-2016) – both active in the early studios of electronic music.The text offers a feminist reading on the concept of ”listening" to early electroacoustic music as well as a musical analysis of few of the composers’ pieces.
